Get back into shape with Mommy and Baby Yoga

A time for mothers to nurture and be nurtured. You’ll be doing exercises both on your own and with your baby. These basic yoga movements include warm ups, abdominal/pelvic exercises, leg work & arm work, and relaxation - all done in a fun collaborative way. Babies are incorporated into the class both as observers and as active participants using soothing infant massage, songs and rhymes, and playful exercises.

The exercises in this yoga class will help you to:
- Tighten your core, alleviate lower back pain, and be closer to buttoning up your favorite pair of jeans
- Stretch & strengthen both your lower and your upper body
- Reduce postpartum depression and anxiety
- Have fun with your baby while getting your body back!

No prior yoga experience necessary. Mats provided (or bring your own!) Also bring a blanket and a few quiet toys for times when your baby prefers not to participate. Nursing, feeding, walking, bouncing, and crying are all normal activities in a Mommy & Baby class!
